From Cinderella to Jasmine
As soon as we met Ravi and Rebecca, both of them second generation Indians. We knew that the organisation of their grant event would be a blast.
In Indian culture, a typical wedding timeline stretches about three days. We managed to make it a four day experience! We loved this wedding so much! Not only because we had the opportunity to use our creativity in four totally different events. But we also had the honour to get to know and hang out with this amazing couple.
First Day: Welcome Lunch
What a great way for the guests to get to know each other and for the couple to feel more comfortable while preparing for the ceremony.
J-Hall, in Margi hotel, was a perfect venue for all the introductions to happen. Beige and pink pastel were the dominant colours while the pampas grass and the phalaenopsis created a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Second Day: Civil Wedding
A Cinderella dream! Classic, white and slick. Golf prive was decorated with candles, crystal chandeliers, mirrors and special constructions, such as the grande arch where the ceremony took place, and everything seemed like a fairytale.
The violin quartet tied together this standard wedding timeline from the ceremony to the first dance and finally the party.
Third Day: Mehndi Tea Beach Party
What a colourful pre-wedding event! It was all about tradition in this amazing venue next to the beach.
There was a henna artist in honour of the bride and many traditional games. The peacock chair decorated with tropical flowers was an amazing photo spot for the couple and the guests who all wore vibrant traditional costumes.
The drum show set the whole party mood!
Fourth Day: Hindu Wedding
Our traditional Indian ceremony. Colourful, rich and full of flowers. We were truly jealous of the amazing, and super heavy, costumes as well as the one of a kind wedding dress.
Dance, joy and many drums were the theme of the day and Rebecca and Ravi never looked more vibrant.
We had an amazing time.
